Terms & Conditions

1. Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an in-car lesson. Otherwise, a $70 fee will be charged.
  • This fee is paid directly to the instructor as compensation for lost time. The office does not retain any portion.
  • Students must communicate directly with the instructor regarding this fee.
• A maximum of 2 cancellations or reschedules is allowed.
• If all lessons are pre-booked at once, cancellations or rescheduling will not be permitted.

2. Classroom Scheduling

• A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule classroom sessions. Otherwise, a $100 fee will be charged.

3. Lesson Timing

• Instructors may have back-to-back appointments.
• Students must allow a 45-minute buffer after each lesson for scheduling personal commitments.

4. Online Curriculum

• Must be completed within 30 days of first login.
• Students must log in within 60 days of receiving the access link.
• Reissuing the curriculum link will cost $150.

5. Course Completion

• Students must complete the course within 6 months.
• After 6 months, a $50 renewal fee will apply.
• Maximum course validity is 2 years. After this period, records may not be available.

6. Certification

• A duplicate certificate costs $50.
• Certificates are sent only via Canada Post.
• Students/guardians must email to request the certificate after course completion and confirm the mailing address.
• Email delivery of certificates will cost $25.

7. Testing Requirements

• Minimum passing marks:
  • 75% in-car training
  • 80% classroom training
• A $50 fee applies to rewrite the in-class test.
• A $10 fee will be charged for marking the question booklet during the final quiz.

8. Student Responsibilities

• Students must bring:
  • Face shield for each driving lesson (available for purchase at $25)
  • Disinfectant wipes to clean contact surfaces before entering the vehicle

9. Conduct Policy

• The driving school maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward abusive or aggressive behavior toward staff or instructors.

10. Lesson Cancellation by Instructor (No Refund)

Lessons may be canceled without refund if:

• Student does not carry a valid learner’s license
• Student appears intoxicated (alcohol/drugs)
• Student is more than 15 minutes late
• Student is disrespectful or inattentive
• Student is not wearing proper clothing or footwear
• Student does not have a face shield
• Student shows COVID-19 symptoms, recent exposure, or travel without prior notice (minimum 24 hours required)

11. Classroom Dismissal Policy

Students may be dismissed if they:

• Show signs of intoxication or sleep deprivation
• Cause disturbance or disrespect
• Use cell phones in class
• Show COVID-19 symptoms

12. Refund Policy

• $50 registration fee is non-refundable
• $100 administrative fee applies if excessive communication or third-party involvement occurs
• $60 per hour will be charged for completed in-car lessons
• $150 for classroom or online training
• No refund for online curriculum once access is issued
• Full fee is non-refundable if all lessons were pre-booked before payment and later canceled
• Refund requests must be completed in person by appointment

13. Right to Refuse Service

The driving school reserves the right to deny service without refund if a student, parent, or guardian behaves in a disrespectful or abusive manner at any time.
